JACKET is a sunscreen created for real people doing real things. We know what you’re looking for out there because we are one of you. We enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, and we are not willing to sacrifice our skin, safety and health to do it.
We know sunscreen is typically not fun to wear for a variety of reasons — it’s grimy and gross, it makes you shiny or gives you “clown face,” it smells, it clogs your pores, it wears off too quickly, etc. — but that approach is unacceptable. JACKET sunscreen was created to eliminate the excuses for not wearing sunscreen.
JACKET provides broad spectrum, SPF 50+ protection, meaning it blocks 98% of both UVA and UVB rays. It is also water resistant (up to 80 minutes), will not clog pores, is not uncomfortable to wear, will not leave you shiny or with a white cast, has little to no fragrance, and can keep up no matter where you go or what you do. It holds up against sweat and extreme elements as well.
But JACKET does more than provide maximum sun protection. Dermatologist-developed, JACKET is a true anti-aging sunscreen that also repairs your skin while you wear it. Enriched with zinc, antioxidants and vitamins, the exclusive ingredients in JACKET are proven to reverse signs of aging, and will fade dark (age) spots, smooth wrinkles and minimize hyperpigmentation. JACKET was created by Dr. Thomas Balshi, MD, a dermatologist and founder of Balshi Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery in Delray Beach, Florida. A South Florida native, Dr. Balshi has spent the majority of his life in the sunshine. In fact, that relationship ultimately fueled him to develop JACKET sunscreen.
Thomas Balshi is not only a dermatologist, he’s an outdoors adventurer and enthusiast, just like those who JACKET was created for. When it comes to protecting and preserving your skin, Dr. Balshi understands the needs and concerns from both the health, safety and medical side as well as the functionality side of sunscreen.
